About Us

Our practice was named after the River Nene, and we think that taking your pet to the vets should be a little like the gentle flow of a river: easy, calm and reassuring.

That’s why the experienced and friendly team members at our March, Wisbech and Peterborough branches – many of whom have been working together for years – go above and beyond to provide great veterinary care, sound advice and a full range of options to every patient and client.

We’re proud to be a progressive and caring veterinary practice, and believe that taking a holistic, inclusive approach to veterinary care allows us to deliver a truly personal service to each pet we see.

You and your pet can make the most of transparent pricing, convenient appointments and personalised treatment plans across our branches, as well as fantastic facilities like comfortable kennel rooms, a wide range of diagnostic equipment including on-site laboratories at all sites, dedicated client rooms and ample free parking.

Alongside day-to-day services like vaccinations, microchipping and nurse clinics, we’re also well equipped to offer more complex services to meet your pet’s needs.

We work closely with visiting specialists in orthopaedics, cardiology and ophthalmology, and have veterinary surgeons with interests in areas such as advanced surgery, oncology and nutrition.

In order to make things as easy and stress-free as possible for you, we also provide our own dedicated pet ambulance service to transfer pets from our Peterborough branch to our out of hours provider, as well as accessible online options such as video consultations and inpatient photo updates.

It’s always a pleasure to get to know people and pets from our local area, and we enjoy taking an active role in our wider community, too.

Our team has worked hard to raise money for charities like Cats Protection, StreetVet and Dogs Trust, and strives to be sustainable through recycling whenever we can and setting up wildlife areas and gardens at our branches.

First and foremost, we’re here for you. Get in touch today to learn how we can support your pet.
